The Grove’s Weekly Message from Tom

By June 15, 2016 November 19th, 2019 Tom's Weekly Email

unnamedTo my Grove family,

This Weekend at The Grove
We conclude our 10-week series of “Be Encouraged” this weekend and the title for my sermon is “Busy, Not Busybodies”. If you will read 2 Thessalonians 3 you will be ready for the message. Our next series is going to be four weeks long and we have entitled it, “We Will All Be Remembered for Something”. It is a series you won’t want to miss. We will also be celebrating Father’s Day this weekend. Not only will we have something special for all “Men of Influence” but you know we will have delicious candy bars for each man at the conclusion of each service. I know it will be hot this Saturday night and Sunday but you can be guaranteed it will be cool at The Grove.

Food for the Homeless Ministry
Donations for our Homeless Ministries at The Grove are needed to help provide nutritious hot meals to the homeless in our community. Please click here for the Needed Donation Items list. Grove volunteers will collect the donations from behind your vehicles during services this weekend on June 18 and 19.

At the HUB
To honor all the men we are having a special dinner for Father’s Day Weekend. On Saturday evening the special will be surf and turf including a beverage for $15.95 plus tax. There will be a special dessert of the chef’s choice for all guests. Our free “Uncrustable” peanut butter and jelly sandwich, fruit cup, chocolate chip cookie, and Kool-Aid juice packet is for our guests 12 and under with an adult entrée purchase. Also, on Sunday morning we will have our omelet station available for $7.40 plus tax.

Two Youth Services
Just another reminder that we now have two youth services (Jr. High and High School) on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Just wanted to remind you that there are now options for you and your family.
