We hope you are enjoying your first week of summer and finding ways to stay cool! Summer at The Grove started off with a bang as we have had 1,200 kids show up every day this week for Summer Splash. It has been an amazing week so far and we still have two more days to go. Every year we have many kids accept Christ at Summer Splash and we are praying for many more to do the same this week. Special thanks to our Children’s Department and the hundreds of volunteers who make this week possible. You are a blessing to our church and are making a huge difference for God’s Kingdom.
Pastor Tom will be preaching a sermon he is calling, “Warning – 10 High Risk Prayers”. He will be preaching out of Psalm 139:17-23 if you would like to read it beforehand and be ready for the service. This is a standalone sermon, not part of a series, as we bring our attention back to our annual theme, Take Heart and Pray. It’s going to be a great weekend and we hope to see you here.

Our “Be Encouraged Series” has come to an end. We hope the Lord used it to encourage you and put people on your heart to encourage. I love Paul’s prayer for the church in 2 Thessalonians 3:5, “May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.” I am praying this for you this afternoon. May we continue to grow in our love for God and not grow weary in doing good for others. We love you and are thankful for you!
