Road to Growth
Our new Road to Growth brochures for the coming quarter are out and available for you at the Welcome Counters this weekend. This brochure will inform you on all the classes you can consider here at The Grove for the coming quarter. Look it over and take advantage of these great classes.

Coming Soon
This year, in addition to the men’s and women’s study on Wednesday night, we have a brand new opportunity for you to consider. Dr. Dan Wilson, one of our most favorite professors at CBU, will be joining us and teaching a class. Below is a brief bio of the class to read over and help you decide if this is a class for you.

  • Dealing with Faith & Government: OT Kings & Kingdoms
How can and should a Christian relate to government in an American culture that is increasingly counter-Christian? Often our answers to such questions are shallow and without adequate Biblical foundation, based as much on personal preferences and/or Western capitalistic values as anything else. We’ll wrestle in this class with developing a biblical theology of citizenship, working primarily through the Old Testament (OT) texts related to the Israelite monarchy, that is, when Israel had kings (the OT historical books of Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles). We will not teach you how to cast the perfect “Christian” vote in November, but our goal will be to come to practical and ethical conclusions about how to live the Christian life in these complex times.
