The Grove’s Weekly Message from Tom – Aug, 11 2016

By August 11, 2016 November 19th, 2019 Tom's Weekly Email

unnamedTo my Grove family,

I hope to see you all this weekend when Pastor Daniel Bishop will be preaching on baptism. He is calling his message, “A Refreshing look at Baptism”. If you will read Matthew 3:13-17, Romans 6:1-14, and Mathew 28:19-20 you will be ready for his message this weekend. If you missed Pastor Matt’s message last weekend on communion you need to hear it right away. You can go to the home page of our website and click on the sermon right from the home page. You will be blessed. This weekend is the second sermon in our “Symbols” series.

Thank you
I want to thank each and everyone of you who have a Grove bumper sticker on your car. As I was driving down the street the other day in a matter of three to four minutes I saw ten Grove bumper stickers and just smiled. It made me happy to see how we are proud of our church and want to let people know. Thank you! If you want a bumper sticker you can pick one up any weekend at the Welcome Counter.

If you are interested in being baptized on Sunday, August 21, come to our “Talk on Baptism” meeting after one of the services this weekend. Pastor Daniel will be teaching on baptism during this week’s services and The Grove will have baptisms the following Sunday after the 10:45 a.m. service and also after the 5 p.m. service. Join Pastor Andy after a service this weekend to sign up to be baptized. He will be available to meet after each service. It is our desire for all believers to be baptized.
