By September 28, 2016 Tom's Weekly Email

To our Grove family,

This Weekend
This week we continue the six-week series we are calling “Resolved” and this weekend I am preaching the message called, “When Temptation Comes Knocking at Your Door”, and Pastor Matt will be preaching the same topic at the Sunday 5 p.m. service. If you will read Daniel 1:8 and Philippians 4:6-8, you will be ready for the message this weekend. We will also be sharing communion in all our services. Remember you can also go to the home page on ourwebsite and click on the button “Resolved” to read chapters one, two, and three of my book Resolved and also work on the homework.

Starting Point
Starting Point is where we want you to begin, whether you’re new to The Grove or have been coming for a while. It is an opportunity to learn about The Grove, hearing about the church’s heart and vision. We will also give you an overview of what ministries and programs we offer and how you can become better connected. Join us tonight, September 28, from 6:30-8:00 PM, in Room D-2. Click here to register.

Bible Project
A new season of the Bible Project will begin this Sunday at 9 a.m. in Room D-2. This will be an eight-week course studying one book or topic of the Bible each week. In this session, we will be teaching an overview of 1 Peter through Revelation. We will also cover two topics: 1) How the Bible came together; and 2) Important Councils and Creeds of the early church. This Sunday Dr. Dan Wilson will be teaching the first topic on how the Bible has come together and been passed on through the centuries. You won’t want to miss it. Pease feel free to join this class on any Sunday. You can register here.
