Hello church family,

It was such a blessing to see our church adapt and come together in a new way this past weekend. We had over 5,000 stream our English services and 500 plus stream our Spanish service! I loved seeing all your posts and hearing about how you gathered together to worship in your homes. We continue to pray for you and want to remind you that we are here and we care for you.

We know these times are challenging and information is coming in at a rapid pace. To help us during this time we started a new thing. We’re recording daily devotions to focus our hearts and seek God. We started on Monday and I shared from Psalm 46:1 – God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Peace can be found as we look to God for help and trust Him to strengthen us during these chaotic times. We will be sharing from Psalms each weekday and we pray it is an encouragement to you. You can find these devotions on FacebookInstagram and our website. The corresponding Psalms & Proverbs 31-day Reading Plan can be found on our website Devotions page and our App (at the App Store or Google Play).

Our Pastoral Team is recording teachings for our midweek programming (Grove Family Night) for both adults and children. Click here to find the video teachings (to be uploaded by 6:30 PM tonight) and virtually connect with your groups. God is still working in this world and in us. We pray you will stay connected to Him and His Word.

Remember, church is not cancelled and the mission of the church continues. Through your faithfulness in both serving and giving, the mission of the church will continue and we will be able to love and care for our church family, the surrounding communities, as well as our Global Partners. It is important that we all continue to give, so that we can do all that God has called us to.

We love you church and we are praying for you,

We still desire for everyone to be connected, but due to the CDC and county requirements, we have to cancel our Small Groups Connect event scheduled for this evening.

During this season of social distancing, we are asking our Grove Small Groups not to meet in homes or on our campus, but to instead creatively adapt the way we care for one another. This is an important time for our small groups and table groups to be caring for one another. So please, be sure to call and care for the people in your groups. In that regard, there are some practical things we can do for members in our groups: grocery shop, childcare, encouragement and prayer are just a few things to consider!

Since we do not know how long these restrictions will be in place, we want to encourage you to think creatively about how to meet virtually and keep in touch. There are all kinds of apps and websites to consider: FaceTime, Zoom, e-mail and Instant Messenger. If you need any help with this, please reach out to Tony Harris, our Small Groups Coordinator.

Request Assistance

Food Pantry

Did you know we have a food pantry? The Grove Pantry is open to those in need from our church family and local community during this difficult time. We are here to offset your food budget and provide you with a few extra food items; please register here. We will arrange a time to meet you.

Grocery Request for 65+ and Immunocompromised

If you are a senior adult or immunocompromised, and in need of grocery shopping assistance, please register here. We will do our best to connect you with a Grove approved volunteer.

Opportunities to Serve

We know the depth of love and generosity that exists at The Grove and that many of you are looking for ways to help. Our teams are working hard to organize these opportunities. Caring for our senior adults, and those with compromised immune systems, is a priority for us. Click here to find out how you can help.

Individually, ask God for ways you and your family can creatively love and serve those around you in your small groups, families and neighborhoods. #Blessedtobeablessing

We have started a Grove Prayer Hotline. We are available to pray with you live between 9 AM and 8 PM. Please call us at 866-507-8331.
