10:30 AM in Room C-200
Our weekly 10:30 AM service welcomes our junior highers from across Riverside. We come together for a time of music and worship, Bible teaching and building relationships. At this service, junior highers will study the same topic as adults in the main service, but with the message geared for junior high students. Our desire is for this to create a pathway for Gospel-centered conversations at home with the family. During our service, there will be time to discuss part of the message at tables with a leader. The message is broken up into on-stage teaching and small-group/table discussion.
Wednesday 6:30 PM in Room C-200 (September-May)
Our weekly Wednesday evening service is designed to build community with junior high students and challenge them in their faith. The night begins with a fun and engaging game where everyone is involved. We then will have a time of music and worship. Students love our worship time! Next, we have a short message that will lead into a small group time of discussion. The topics we focus on are relevant issues of belief and behavior as well as sharing the Gospel. The small group/discussion time is led by our Refuge leaders who have a heart for junior highers and desire to help them walk through life’s challenges. This is such a wonderful environment for students to be a part of because it gives them an opportunity to know students their age and have a safe environment where they can share and grow in the Lord.
