I grew up knowing the name of the Lord, but it wasn't until my junior year of high school, when a friend invited me to The Grove, that I really began exploring and finding my relationship with Christ. Through that one invite, I was able to connect with a group of girls and a mentor that encouraged me, pushed me and guide me as I found myself in Christ. That next summer, while at church camp, I gave my life to Christ, then the summer after that I was baptized. Though holding onto and growing in that relationship was hard, time and time again I kept putting other things ahead of God and I struggled. It wasn't until the summer of 2017, when my life got turned upside down, that I really found myself in the Lord. I was in the mix of tragedy and was brought to my knees with nothing left in me, when I turned to God and asked for strength. From that day, I completely surrendered myself to the Lord.

A fun fact about me is that I can cook a delicious Paella!

My prayer for The Grove is that we will be a church that will be fully inclusive to people and families impacted by disabilities. That The Grove will be a place that those impacted by disabilities can come to and feel loved, welcomed and seen. That The Grove is a place where we will welcome people with disabilities and their families with open arms and that we will show them that they are an indispensable part of our church body.
