Outreach is an essential part of life at The Grove! One of our core values is to be changed by God SO THAT we can reach all people - both here in Riverside and around the world. Our desire is to help our church family capture the heart of God and His desire to make His name known among the nations! Did you know there are 3.1 billion people in the world who have never heard about the hope we have in Jesus? And every believer at The Grove has a responsibility to answer Jesus’ call in Matthew 28:19-20 to “go and make disciples of all nations”! We want to provide opportunities for you to reach the people He has called you to, whether you go into your own neighborhood or to a foreign land. Let’s make His name known together!
Local Outreach
We encourage everyone at The Grove to get involved in the work of meeting the needs of people in the greater Riverside area. We encourage individuals, families, community groups, and entire ministries to get involved in serving. We partner with local organizations in these areas to reach the greater Riverside area. We believe we should focus not only on the global Church, but on what the Lord has called us to do for our surrounding city. There are many different ministries you can volunteer with here at The Grove.
Global
Our goal is to help our church family capture the heart of God and His desire to make His name known among the nations! The Grove has sent and supports over 89 missionaries serving in 27 countries around the world. We are planting churches, establishing community centers, translating the Bible, building schools, orphanages, and helping prevent human trafficking. We want to meet not just physical needs, but the deeper spiritual needs of those who hunger for hope.
Treks
The Grove Outreach Treks, short term trips, are one way we are being changed by God to reach all people. We would love to have you join one of The Grove’s trek teams that are heading out into the world to love, learn, and serve God’s people. You are invited to visit our Global Partners and join in the mission of what God is doing in and around the world. You will be able to encourage our Global Partners, participate in work projects, and share the love of Jesus.
The Grove Residency
Our heart is to equip leaders who will make disciples. This Residency Program is for up-and-coming leaders. We will bring two “ministry residents” on staff at The Grove to be mentored, gain broad ministry experience, practice a lifestyle of evangelism and discipleship, and spend time serving with a missionary in an international context. The goal is to raise up new leaders with the skills and heart for a lifetime of church planting, foreign missions, or church revitalization work.
