I’m blessed to have grown up in a home where I was thought to lay my burdens at the feet of Jesus.  I encountered God early on and remember Him truly sustaining and giving my family hope during a very dark time, as we left a communist nation with the desire of a better life in the United States.  After experiencing much turmoil at a very young age, I realized that it was God who got my family through the challenging times.  At eleven years old, I accepted Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior.  I still remember shaking as I stood up to pray with a prayer partner at church, knowing that was the biggest, most important decision of my life.  Since then, the Lord has continually shown me His love, mercy, and grace.

Our family started attending The Grove when the church moved to Orangecrest, after attending a Trunk or Treat event.  We fell in love with the children’s ministries and the love of Christ that is exhibited and poured out into the community.

I am a devoted Angels fan and love going to watch Mike Trout and the Angels play live at Angel Stadium with my family.

My prayer for The Grove is that the church continues to have a love for God’s Word.  That through the challenging times we are in, we continue to walk in His wisdom, humility, and strength.  May His words of truth be planted firmly within us so that we may be obedient and stay focused on what is pure and right.
