The Grove has a professional counseling center as a ministry of our church. We understand people walk through various kinds of suffering, and we have a God who loves us and desires to walk with us through it all. One way He can provide care for us in suffering is through counseling. Our center is a safe place for all people to find healing during difficult seasons of life, and our hope is that it can be a tool that God can use to speak into our lives as we are being changed by God to reach all people.

Therapy

Our Counseling at The Grove Corner team works hard to foster a culture of hope, growth, and encouragement in all that we do. We provide care to individuals (adults and children), couples, and families. We treat a wide range of challenges and mental health issues, including depression, addictions, grief, spiritual concerns, anxiety, and more.

We offer counseling to anyone, regardless of church or religious affiliation.

Once you have been placed under a counselor’s care, you will continue to revisit the same counselor for each session so as to build relationship and trust.

Faith-based counseling is available but not required.

You may make an appointment over the phone by calling us at 951-571-9096 or by filling out the Counseling Interest Form below. We accept payment in the form of cash or card; we do not accept insurance.

Support Groups

There will be no meeting on Monday, September 7.

Please stay connected to this website for upcoming group changes and support opportunities.

Al-Anon:
7 – 8:30 PM in Room D-3

This weekly support group is designed for adults (18 years and older) who are in relationship with someone struggling with chemical dependency. In a safe space to share common experiences and apply the Al-Anon principles, our goal is that families and friends of those suffering from chemical dependency can bring positive changes to their individual situations, regardless of where their loved one is in their journey.

Drug and Alcohol
7 – 8:30 PM in Room D-2

This faith-based, weekly support group is designed for individuals (18 years and older) who are currently or have previously struggled with chemical dependency. This supportive and nonjudgmental group creates a safe space to be honest with our struggles and to seek out freedom from alcohol or substance abuse. Combining traditional 12-step principles with the expertise of trained mental health professionals, this group focuses on relapse prevention, identifying triggers, and healthy coping skills.

Grief Support:
6:30 – 8 PM at The Grove Corner in the Sunroom

This faith-based, weekly support group is for adults (18 years and older) who have lost a loved one and are going through the waves of grief. In this group, you will receive resources and education about the grief experience, as well as explore hope and meaning through suffering a loss. We understand grief is both a universal and personal experience. In this group, our hope is to honor your unique story while we surround you with care and support.

Support Group for Caregivers of Aging Adults (1st & 3rd Fridays):
10 – 11:30 AM at The Grove Corner in the Sunroom

This support group is specifically designed for individuals who are caregiving for aging spouses and/or parents. The group provides a safe space for participants to connect, share their experiences, and receive support from peers facing similar challenges. Whether you’re navigating the physical, emotional, or spiritual aspects of caregiving, this group offers a place for compassion, understanding, and shared strength.
