Grantham Wash, Young Adults Minister

I grew up as a worship pastor’s son with two older siblings in West Texas. At a young age, I came to recognize my sin and need for salvation and made the decision to follow Jesus and was baptized. My parents prioritized the great commission and seeing the world through God’s eyes all throughout my life. This influence deeply instilled a confidence in my prayer life and I learned one of the best ways to develop a relationship with Jesus was by just simply talking to Him.

After high school, I did a gap year to do mission work and this is when the Lord broke my heart for reaching people far from Jesus. I went on to do my undergrad at California Baptist University which is where I met my wife, Abbey. The Lord has called us to be a part of church planting and make disciples across Riverside and the world.

In my free time I love skateboarding, drinking coffee, and watching Star Wars. Let’s do one of those together soon! 

My biggest prayer for The Grove is that our church family continues to make disciples who make disciples and that we continually ask God to do the things that we cannot do by ourselves and watch Him work.
