After several years of faithful ministry from my parents, I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of seven. I was struggling in a time where I was isolated as a Deaf person and was in need of a faithful friend. Jesus made it evident that He would be my ever faithful friend. He made it known that He sees me as a valuable person and that my Deafness will be used to His kingdom’s advantage. Still to this day, He’s my best friend that never let down. Jesus took me all over the globe to minister to the Deaf world; He showed me His heart for people. Statistically, 98% of the Deaf people group have yet to hear about the Good News of what God has done for us through Jesus. It is my heart to spread the Good News of Christ to the Deaf people group. The Grove reflects this same heart that I’ve discovered. The Grove is a church that cares about our community, especially those who have been marginalized. When The Grove reached out to me about becoming the Deaf Minister, I knew the Lord was pointing me in the right direction. Three years and counting on staff, and it’s been an incredible journey. My wife, Elise, and I have been tremendously blessed to be part of this family. We are excited to see what God will do in your life as you join us here at The Grove.

I’m a woodworker hobbyist. I love creating things out of wood and showing its beauty. Wood is something to me that is interesting and challenging to work with.

My prayer for The Grove is that we will continue to be an open vessel for God to accomplish His kingdom purpose. I pray that the Deaf people group, both globally and locally, will come to know Him. I pray that all people who are led to The Grove will find their ultimate purpose in Christ.
