Noland Turnage, Associate Pastor

I grew up in Northern California where I was very active in the local church. At 12, I accepted the Lord as my savior. At the age of 16, I received my call into the ministry and preached my first sermon. I moved to Riverside in 1984 and served as Assistant Pastor for 19 years in a local Baptist Church. In 1985, I met the young lady who would become my wife. One of the things we discovered about each other right away was that we share the same life verse, Philippians 3:14. We were married in 1989 and had our first and only child in 1995. In 2003, we planted a church in Perris, California where we faithfully served for 12 years. For 7 of those years, I was privileged to be under the mentorship of Pastor Tom Lance and The Grove Community Church. In 2015, we merged with The Grove. I have had the privilege of serving as the Perris Outreach Minister since that time.

In recent years, I have discovered the joy and relaxation of having a Koi pond. I enjoy sitting by the pond, hand feeding, and petting my fish.

I pray that The Grove will continue to be changed by God to reach all people. I also pray that the body of Christ would grow as a result of the sharing, teaching, and preaching of the Gospel in Perris.
