Peggy Webb, Executive Assistant to Lead Pastor

I grew up in a Christian home where church attendance was expected and my parents served faithfully. We went to a church where Christ was preached and youth programs were strong. Jesus became my personal Savior when I was in junior high and I have walked with the Lord ever since.

I served in my local church (Presbyterian) in Fullerton for several years. I felt a calling on my life to serve the church in some capacity. I often thought that my personal testimony was not good enough to share. I heard so many others speak of their life before Christ and how God changed their trajectory. For me, it was more of a daily decision to follow Christ and serve Him through every season of my life.

After meeting my husband while in college, we dated for years and then married and moved to Riverside (from my hometown of Fullerton) where we would buy a home and start our family.

We have four children (now adults) who were my primary ministry for years as I stepped out of professional work (vocational counseling) to stay available and pour into our kids. After 8 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I took a leadership role at Harvest Christian Fellowship to manage the Bookstore. I worked there for 14 years. We started attending The Grove (then VCC) just before the church moved to Orangecrest. We so agree with the mission of The Grove to reach ALL people, the sense of community, teamwork, and emphasis on outreach. We desired to live out our faith in serving others. We became members in 2007.

Our entire family love and serve at The Grove: Hilliary and Gabi are second grade teachers every Sunday, Rachael, and her husband DJ, serve in high school ministry, and Nate serves in junior high. Halford has enjoyed serving alongside many in men’s ministry, campus safety, and as a Grove Board Member.

I came on staff at The Grove in 2019 to serve as Executive Assistant to Lead Pastor Daniel. I love the cooperation of all staff for the goal of honoring the Lord and serving His people. This team truly exemplifies “better together.”
