Steve Jussenhoven, Young Adults and Intern Development Pastor

I was blessed to be born in a loving Christian home. My family raised me in the faith and stressed the importance of the Church and fostering a relationship with Christ. However, I made my faith my own during my Junior High summer camp at Hume Lake. There, I rededicated my life to Christ and chose to center my life on serving the Lord. The next year, I was baptized at camp and felt the call to serve God as a pastor and share the love that He's shown me. From there, I got my undergraduate and master’s degrees at Azusa Pacific University. After getting married to my wife, Hannah, we began searching for a new church home in Riverside. After hearing the message about the Love Offering at The Grove and seeing the church’s passion for missions and service, we committed to attending and serving here!

I am a die-hard fan and partial owner of the Green Bay Packers. I love to travel and have been to over 25 countries. Additionally, I love spending time at the beach and in nature. I’d love to catch a game or go surfing with you anytime!

My prayer for The Grove is that we will continue to be a church that seeks to make disciples of all people and that strives to make a difference in Riverside and the world.
