Our goal through Treks is to help our church family capture the heart of God and His desire to make His name known among the nations! We do this by providing both local and global opportunities to go serve and share the love of Christ with those around us. We want to meet not just physical needs, but the deeper spiritual needs of those who hunger for hope.

These treks are equally a great blessing to those you meet as well as a great blessing to you! Our prayer is that Grove Trek members will be changed by God as they reach all people and return with a greater passion and heart for Christ’s Kingdom.
Global Treks
We would love to have you join a Grove team heading out into the world to love, learn, and serve. Whether it’s using vacation time or a free weekend, YOU are invited to visit our Global Partners and join in the mission of what God is doing in and around the world! Join us as we encourage our Global Partners, work on projects, and visit other venues.

Women’s Mongolia Trek
August 24 - September 9
This team will lead a three-day Vacation Bible School for the local children. Then, they will help plan, organize, and host a Women’s Retreat. Our Global Partners and the local women and children are in need of encouragement and a time to worship the Lord.
Men’s Mexico City Trek
August 31 - September 7
We will partner with El Monte Mexicom, a Missionary Theological School, to build their capacity for camps and retreats. We are looking to build a team of 8-15 men.
Men’s Spain Trek
October (8-9 days)
We will partner with Global Partner Martin C. and his connections to churches in Barcelona and Malaga to do some general construction. We are looking for a team of 5-10 men to join this team.
South Asia
October 22 - November 8
This team will work alongside our national workers in the region, trekking alongside the Himalayas and visiting villages. They will see orphans, visit widows and widowers, offer food and encouragement, and attend a gathering of persecuted believers. While encouraging them in their faith, they will hear incredible stories of unshakable faith. This trek includes a sherpa-guided journey up the mountain and across bridges to seek higher ground.
Kenya
Tentatively Spring 2025
On this trek, we will help run a VBS for roughly 60 TCK children 0-17 at the SIM Conference, tour the hospital where our Global Partners, the Petersons, work, and experience ministry with them. We will walk the shopping area in Kijabe to pray, connect, and see the area. There may be an opportunity to visit an English School in Eastleigh and go see the safari park in Nairobi.
Mongolia
Tentatively Spring 2025
We will be taking a team of 5-10 people to serve with our Global Partners, Michael and Hillary Mincher. In Mongolia, working with animals is a main source of survival. We’ll be working with the Christian Veterinary Missions and hosting a weeklong Vacation Bible School for children.
Central Asia
2 weeks in April-May 2025
We will be partnering with our Global Partners to help with campus ministry through an annual Young Adult camp, an English camp/classes, and slacklining. There will be good coffee and good vibes as we tell others about our Good God.
Japan
June 16-20, 2025
The Grove will join our Global Partner's mission agency conference to provide programming for the 80 kids of the missionary families. This is a huge blessing and provides peace of mind as we provide a biblically rooted week of fun as we minister to the kids.
Summer-long Treks
Mongolia (2 opportunities)
June-July: We are forming a team of individuals or couples who would like to teach English to children in the countryside for 60 days. No official training is required, just a humble heart to learn and serve.
June-October: We will be sending teams of veterinary-trained people to teach interns and students for 2-4 weeks.
Spain
We will be sending a team of college-aged individuals to Spain to live with a family while teaching their children English over the summer.
