God uses people to reach people. To reach me, God had powerfully used my sisters. God has given me three incredible sisters. Through their love and ministry to me, God had helped me to understand His great love and ministry for me. My oldest sister was the first to begin following Jesus and her commitment would trickle down and influence the rest of us. I grew up in Riverside, where I attended local schools and participated in sports, but during my high school years I started getting in trouble with the law. As an eighteen year old, my sisters were concerned for me and invited me to a weekend Christian festival with camping and concerts. It was there, that I heard about Jesus in such a clear and powerful way that I couldn’t help but to call on His name to be saved. I committed my life to Him at that festival.

I started attending The Grove after a friend invited me to join him on a Men’s trip to serve in Mexico. I met some great guys on that trip and have been a part of The Grove family ever since. Later, while serving in the college group, I met my wife Arden. Today, we have four daughters together and are glad to call The Grove our church home. 

Once upon a time I was a snowboard instructor and still occasionally like to go out for a ride. If there is fresh powder, then there is a good chance I’ll join you, if you want to go. 

My prayer for the church is that we would be faithful in life and fruitful in ministry for the Lord Jesus Christ. He deserves our best. May we be a church found giving our best in life and ministry for His glory.
